Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9+ - Add a Personal Email Account

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate: Settings > Accounts and backup > Accounts.
  3. Tap Add account.
  4. Select the appropriate account type POP3.
  5. If presented, select the account sub-type: choose Other
  6. Enter the email address then tap NEXT.
  7. Enter the password then tap NEXT.
  8. If presented, enter the appropriate info (e.g., Username, Password, Server, etc.), the servers in and out are mail.4cdg.com, the user name is your entire email address and your password is from CDG then tap NEXT.
  9. If presented, enter the appropriate info (e.g., SMTP server, Port, Server, use default settings for ports or outgoing could be 25 or 587 on some devices, incoming could be port 110 on some devices) then tap NEXT.
  10. To continue, review the requested permissions then tap Agree.
  11. Configure account options (e.g., Sync frequency, Inbox download size, etc.) as desired then tap NEXT.
    Note Depending upon the email account type, the available options may vary
  12. Enter an account name (optional) then tap NEXT.
    Note If presented, ensure a name is entered for outgoing messages.
